Laundry room In the front building at the entrance barrier there is a communal laundry room with washing machines & dryers (washing tokens can be purchased from the campsite management) Boating You can hire a boat from the management for short trips. For example, you can drive to the direct center of Medemblik, or in the other direction to the nature reserve Boxwei. All waterways are labeled. The boats are license-free in the size and speed offered. Playground There is a small, fenced-in playground near the front parking lot. Bathing Communal bathing jetty with a small sunbathing lawn

Chalet op Zee is located in Wervershoof, Noord-Holland in the Netherlands. Attractions , sights, museums, for young and old in the immediate vicinity. Beautiful old Dutch towns with charming architecture are only a few minutes away by car, e.g. Medemblik – 3 km – Hoorn 20 km – Enkhuizen – 25 km – or even Amsterdam 50 km. For children is located within walking distance next to our small on-site children’s playground, a large private playground with kiosk, terrace and many highlights, such as trampolines, large slides, wooden train, swings and and and – which can be used free of charge by our younger guests. Two kilometers away a swimming pool with water slide – indoor playground up to 16 years approx. 5 km away. Next port in Medemblik – with its historic railroad station and dyke with a jetty for round trips. In Enkhuizen there is another large indoor swimming pool directly adjacent to a fine sandy beach by the sea.
Spokjesland, also in Enkhuizen, for children up to the age of 12, is a popular attraction for young families or grandparents with grandchildren. Golf course in the immediate vicinity. Our manager will be happy to help you plan day trips, such as to the island of Texel or to the North Sea.
